As a contractual obligation, all Surgeries must provide patients with the opportunity for Online Access. This means that from 1st April 2015, you will be able to access online GP appointments, prescriptions and view part of your medical records (summary, medication, allergies and immunisations).
In order to be able to access any of the above, you will need to come into Reception and register providing photo ID to Receptionist. We do ask that you do this at times when it is likely to be less busy in Reception, ie., at lunchtimes when morning clinics have finished.
Please tailor your request for access to your GP Surgery according to your need to help us reach out to as many patients as possible within 24-48 hours for non-urgent requests. Options for access to medical advice and treatment at Ascot Medical Centre could be gained via:-
E-Consultations – Online consultation: this gives you access without the wait on the phone
Telephone appointments: this could be any consultation or medical advice for on-going problems.
Face to Face appointments: to be used for conditions that need examination or follow up review of conditions that need a physical examination.
GP Hub consultations: we work within a Federation of local practices and these appointments are offered to our patients in a central hub from either King Edward VII hospital (Outpatients Dept) or St Marks Hospital, Maidenhead.
